  1. Kaitlyn, I loved your prezi! It was so organized. I really liked all the facts and information you provided in the beginning. Your comparison side by side was very effective. I thought that your delivery of the student's errors was clever! And finally I loved the refection of why the errors occurred. Really wonderful job!

  2. Wow...what a presentation...everything from the fonts to the neon colors and black background...fantastic. Easy on the eyes and fun to read. The VENN diagram was a nice touch. The information was well organized, clear and concise. Nice work:)

  3. Kaitlyn, great Prezi!

I especially like your use of the Venn diagram to compare and contrast the two languages. The information was concise and easy to understand. :) My question is did your subject speak fluent Spanish, or did he/she only know some Spanish since the mother speaks mostly English at home?

  4. Kaitlyn,
Nice Prezi! I love when it is easy to read and the choices of colors were great! I think the Venn Diagram was a nice touch and I can relate to all your info. Do you think that the majority of the errors are actually normal errors that children make? This child seemed to do quite well at English and it must be interesting since the mother speaks both English and Spanish. I actually have a friend whose mother is from Peru and she does not speak any Spanish. I find it so hard to believe!

  5. Kaitlyn, I really enjoyed viewing your Prezi. My presentation compared Spanish & English as well, but you hit some points that I missed! I liked how you laid things out: Overview, background of student, errors/reasons and needs. It flowed nicely and was easy to follow, including your choice of font/design. ¡Muy bien hecho!

  6. Thank you all for the comments! I actually had a lot of fun with it once I became familiar with using Prezi! Nikki and Danielle, many of the errors did seem developmentally appropriate. In my paper, I went into more detail about how the girl is not fluent in Spanish. Her mother speaks a mix of Spanish and English, and mother's English is not proficient. Some errors that the girl made were errors that I had also heard from her mother. I hypothesized that her errors were a mix of what she hears at home and developmental progression.
